It is my favorite time of the day. It’s the only vantage point where you can admire your entire day and the positive impact it can have. And with a little strategy and planning, its impact can be huge!
Mornings are full of potential. Your creativity is at its best. You have captured many promising ideas during your sleep. They’re rattling like mad in your head begging for attention and follow through. Mentally, you are also at your best — rested, alert, calm and ready for action.
Ready to Go
Every morning, I imagine that I am creating a new business I’ll have to pass on, sell, or go public, by the end of the day. The time between both points is the hustle to get my idea, my MVP, my service off the ground and polished enough for handoff.
This works a little like the to-do list. It makes you reflect on what you want to get done with the incredible opportunity of having an entire day ahead of you. It has to be realistic. You have to believe that you can accomplish this and be willing to drop any fluff that gets in the way.
Don’t squander this pivotal and inspirational daily moment. Treat each morning as the phenomenal business opportunity it is. This is the easiest point of the day to plan, the more the day progresses, the harder it gets. So, to allocate the necessary time to properly plan for your day each and every morning.
