Another 30 Days Left To Shine
“Why do you write like you’re running out of time?
Write day and night like you’re running out of time?
Ev’ry day you fight, like you’re running out of time.
Keep on fighting
In the meantime
Non-Stop — Hamilton
I just paid my co-working office dues. This is a big deal for me. I choose not to use an automated bank transfer. I choose not to leave them my credit card number. I want to walk to the reception desk and fork out the money for another 30 days in person.
To me, its a vindication that I’ve made it this far and a great feeling that I managed to buy myself another 30 days. Thirty days to get my shit together, to get all my ducks in a row, and to see my ship come in. That’s just 30 days mind you; it goes quick! I’ll take all the reminders possible. Anytime somebody or something offers to light a fire under my ass, I welcome it.

It’s a good thing he was in a hurry. He was shot early in life but managed to write most of The Federalist papers before dying in a duel. I’m not planning on dying soon and even less of partaking in a duel, but time is running out for all of us, no matter your age. You don’t know what is lurking around the corner, so get your stuff done now!
Luxuries are for Closers
Unless you’re drifting aboard a yacht sipping on a cocktail, you’re still in the game. Don’t waste your time on Netflix and don’t get trapped on the hamster wheel of social media— yeah, it’s all funny, cute, crazy, but more importantly, it’s on a fucking endless loop! It never ends!
Thirty days starting now, so off the couch!
Document The Journey
This is something I have been doing over the years even though at times haphazardly. I am trying to make it more thematic and systematic. I would also strongly encourage anybody out there not currently doing this to start immediately. Your struggles are just as interesting as your successes. This is a form of vindication as well. It shows you had the wherewithal to put it down on paper for prosperity, the world will judge you as successful regardless of how you feel.
So, you’ve made it this far, congrats — now back to working on your dreams. You’re running out of time!
